BMW F 450 GS Accessory List: Cross-Spoke Wheels Cost Nearly Rs 1 Lakh

Two months after the F 450 GS hit Indian showrooms, BMW Motorrad has revealed the official accessory catalogue and pricing. The headline number is the cross-spoked wheel set at Rs 99,693, since the India-spec GS Trophy ships with alloys as standard. Accessories start at Rs 2,000 for the clear Rallye windshield.
What was announced
BMW Motorrad India has published the full accessory list for the F 450 GS, the brand's entry adventure motorcycle launched two months ago. The India-spec GS Trophy variant ships with alloy wheels as standard, unlike the global showcase bike that wore golden cross-spoked rims. The accessory catalogue confirms what those cross-spoked wheels will cost buyers who want the look at home.
BMW will sell you the global launch look, but the cross-spoke wheels alone cost more than a decent used commuter motorcycle.
Pricing spans from Rs 2,000 for the most affordable item to Rs 84,100 for the most expensive single accessory, with the wheel set sitting above both.
| Accessory | Price (Rs) |
|---|---|
| Cross-spoke wheel set (front + rear) | 99,693 |
| Rider's low seat | 21,195 |
| Rallye windshield, tinted | 14,182 |
| Engine protectors (left + right) | 13,126 |
| Rallye seat (tri-colour) | 9,081 |
| Rallye windshield, clear | 2,000 |
The most expensive single accessory in the catalogue is priced at Rs 84,100; the wheel set is sold as a pair. Prices are ex-showroom and do not include fitment.
The cross-spoked wheels remain the headline talking point because they were central to the bike's global reveal imagery. The Rallye seat carries BMW Motorrad's signature tri-colour stitching. Engine protectors are sold as a left and right pair at the listed price.
The Car Jury verdict
The accessory sheet exposes the real cost of getting the F 450 GS to look like the global launch bike. Nearly Rs 1 lakh for the cross-spoke wheels is steep for a 450cc adventure motorcycle, especially when buyers in this segment are already comparing on-road numbers against the KTM 390 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. BMW knows the GS badge carries pricing power, and the catalogue is built around that assumption.
The smarter buys are the Rallye seat at Rs 9,081 and the clear windshield at Rs 2,000, both genuinely useful. The tinted windshield at Rs 14,182 over a Rs 2,000 clear unit is harder to justify. If you want the Trophy look without the Trophy bill, stick to the seat, engine protectors and clear shield, and skip the wheels.
