Renault Kiger, Triber Get Up To Rs 80,000 Off In June 2026: Worth It?

Renault India has rolled out its June 2026 offers, with benefits of up to Rs 80,000 on the Kiger, plus discounts on the Triber and Kwid valid till June 15. The new Duster continues to sell without any consumer offers, mirroring the strategy seen last month.
What was announced
Renault India is running consumer offers on the Kiger, Triber and Kwid through 15 June 2026. The new Duster, launched earlier this year, continues without any discount, exchange bonus or loyalty offer. Renault has clarified that offers vary by city, dealership and stock availability.
Rs 80,000 off the Kiger is a stock-clearance signal, not a value story; the Triber discount is the only one worth chasing.
The Kiger carries the largest headline number this month, with total benefits of up to Rs 80,000 on select variants. This stack includes a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000, an exchange or scrappage offer of up to Rs 25,000, and a loyalty benefit of up to Rs 15,000. A corporate benefit of up to Rs 10,000 and a rural offer of up to Rs 4,000 apply pan-India, with Tamil Nadu buyers getting a higher Rs 15,000 corporate benefit. Crucially, the entry Authentic and Evolution trims are excluded from the cash and exchange components, with only loyalty, scrappage and referral benefits available. The Kiger is priced from Rs 5.81 lakh to Rs 10.34 lakh ex-showroom and competes against the Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq and Tata Nexon.
| Component | Maximum benefit |
|---|---|
| Cash discount | Rs 40,000 |
| Exchange or scrappage | Rs 25,000 |
| Loyalty | Rs 15,000 |
| Corporate (pan-India) | Rs 10,000 |
| Rural offer | Rs 4,000 |
Tamil Nadu buyers receive a corporate benefit of up to Rs 15,000. Authentic and Evolution variants are not eligible for the cash discount or exchange bonus.
The Car Jury verdict
Rs 80,000 off a Kiger sounds large until you read the asterisks. The cash discount, exchange and loyalty stack only on higher trims; Authentic and Evolution buyers get loyalty, scrappage and referral, nothing more. Renault is clearing stock on a car the market has cooled on, while the Maruti Brezza and Kia Sonet keep eating into the segment without needing discounts.
The Triber offer is the more honest deal: a sub-Rs 8 lakh seven-seater with a real cash break is rare. The Duster holding firm tells you where Renault's confidence sits; as Team-BHP of Team-BHP put it, "The Renault Duster is back and Renault is not being subtle about it." If you want a Renault this month, buy the Duster at sticker, or take the Triber discount. Skip the Kiger.
